According to theme park fansite Screamscape Universal Studio Hollywood's Transformers: The Ride will have it's "Grand Opening" some time in May 2012. However, the ride may actually be open to guest for several weeks prior to the official grand opening.
Released on the Official BotCon website today is the 2nd figure reveal for BotCon 2012, in Dallas TX. This Shattered Glass Autobot is Tracks and bears a striking likeness to Road Rage. Four more figures are to be revealed in the BotCon 2012 Box set "Invasion". The images are mirrored below or head over to the Official Botcon 2012 website.
This figure, as several have speculated, also serves as homage to Road Rage, an eHobby release of the G1 Tracks figure in Diaclone colours; known for her - yes her - friendliness in robot mode, but extreme anger and recklesness while in vehicle mode. Perhaps SG Tracks will have the same personality? Time will tell.
The Official BotCon facebook page just posted an up close and personal image of the recently revealed BotCon 2012 "Invasion" Boxset exclusive Gigatron (Overlord). Take a look below, they've promised to post more images of this guy to the Official BotCon 2012 website soon.

Starscream, or Grimlock rather, has revealed the first figure in the exclusive 2012 BotCon "Invasion" boxset! Check out the video embedded below to get your first look at Gigatron, who is a repaint of ROTF Voyager Bludgeon with brand new head sculpt. A mold chosen to reference Overlord's Gigatank component.
Jesse Wittenrich has updated his deviantART account with both pieces of BotCon 2012 promotional art that we've seen so far, the shadowy Shattered Glass Evil Ultra Magnus teaser and the full color version that also features Shattered Glass Heroic Soundwave. Check out the nice clear versions of the art below.
We of Seibertron.com wish that all of you will receive the wonderful gift of Transformers in plastic form or another in the upcoming hours. Adding to the list is Fun Publications, who have released the BotCon 2012 Brochure to the public. Among the details of the late April event, the BotCon figure set has been revealed!
