About Team - Unique Name

Many a cycle ago, Team – Unique Name was at the top of the war against the Decepticons. Led by the brilliant and council ordained Optimal Prime, the team of Autobots was the most impressive group of robots in the galaxy. Field Leader Cheetron skillfully led other Autobots into countless battles with the slimmest chance of survival; only to come out with many victories. Maximus-Prime, an Optimus Prime offshoot from another dimension, came forth and gave the team its conscience. His never give up attitude provided a great moral boost to everyone. Gadget, the Fuzor, was the team’s medical officer. His expert repair skills kept the team together. Ultra Magnus Minus may have been a copy of the real Ultra Magnus, one dimension removed of course, but his drive to protect others was inspiring. Wing Streak was the team’s rookie and as it turned out, the teams own cheering section.

Times were good. The team became a family. But all families go through hard times. The conflict that was called Dark Tidings proved to be the team’s greatest downfall. It started when Optimal Prime was blasted into a protoform chamber while battling the enemy. That protoform absorbed the majority of the traits from Optimal Prime and joined the team as Optimal Primaltron. He was a welcomed member of the team.

It all started to unravel when Optimal Primaltron went missing. All members of the team were sent out on missions to try and stop the Decepticons advance. Maximus-Prime, Gadgett, and Ultra Magnus Minus all fell in battle. Maximus-Prime and Gadgett were placed in statis chambers; Ultra Magus Magnus did not survive. Optimal Primaltron showed up once again, only this time to destroy the team’s headquarters as well as Wing Streak. It was Cheetron who took down his rogue brother only to learn that Galvatron had corrupted his spark.

Cheetron went AWOL. The Autobot High Command attempted to label him as a traitor until Optimal Prime stepped in. he created clones versions of his fallen warriors to track down and retrieve Cheetron. At the same time, the dormant sparks of Maximus-Prime and Gadgett fused together in a laboratory accident to create Exemplar. This new Transformer spearheaded the recovery effort, much to the Autobot High Command’s disdain. It was during this time that the strong and aggressive Transformer Back-Up joined. Optimal Prime was stripped of his command because of his use of banned cloning technology. He became a common soldier. Cheetron was named team leader but in his absence, Exemplar was in charge. While aiding a team of Autobots in the defense of Santa’s workshop in the frozen northern pole of the planet Earth, the cloned spark of Gadgett was caught in the wake of an energy blast from the Matrix of Rodimus Prime. His spark began mutating into something new and thus he was spared from the Autobot High Command’s destruction of the clones.

It was then that the Autobot High Command secretly sent out headhunters to take care of the team. They wanted Cheetron brought in for questioning in the case of the missing Optimal Primaltron. Exemplar was an abomination; they wanted to study him in order to understand how he was created. Gadgett was another mystery, the Autobot scientists wanted to study his mutating spark at the expense of Gadgett himself. Optimal Prime and Back-Up were to be destroyed on sight.

In the wake of this news, Cheetron returned home to regain control of his team. The formally rogue leader brought his team into line for the end of that Great War. He learned of the new teammate Sneaks. Sneaks was a young ‘bot off of the streets that Optimal Prime took in an effort to redeem himself. He was too green around the processors. This one would take time to mold into a warrior. If only they had that time….

Rebellions began to develop within the ranks of both the Autobots and the Decepticons. The new faction called the Maximals began rebelling against the hypocrisy of the Autobots their corrupt High Command. The Autobot High Command decided then that those who had shown any hint of possible treachery or deceit were to be captured for interrogation or destroyed while The Maximals believed in their troops.

The Autobots sent team after team to try and find the members of Team - Unique name. After a week of constantly dodging the Autobots’ headhunters, Cheetron and the entirety of Team – Unique Name decided to leave the Autobots for good. They set out on a quest to find the Maximals. After many months they found the Maximal headquarters. They were welcomed with open arms.

Cycles have passed. The team came together as a family once again. Cheetron was a proper commander and took Sneaks under his paw in order to train them. They became as close as father and son. Gadgett came to terms with his mutation and started down the path of a medic again. Back-Up communed with both Optimus Primal and the Oracle. He emerged from his session as Fall Back, a more mature Transformer. Exemplar developed severe mental problems when the personality of Maximus-Prime began taking over his body. he could not be trusted. No one was sure which Transformer personality was in charge. It wasn’t long after that that Sneaks was killed in a raid by the Autobots. Cheetron nearly lost his spark in the fight. Cheetron fought off the attackers who were after him. Sneaks was only defending his mentor when he perished. This shamed both Exemplar and Maximus-Prime. Exemplar regained control of his mind and body only to be overwhelmed with millions of Transformers personalities that had been retained by the shard of the matrix Maximus-Prime retained from his universe. this made him less trustworthy than ever. Eventually Exemplar communed with Optimus Primal so that he could overcome his condition. Optimal Prime – the former commanderof Team - Unique Name, became a top strategist for the Maximals.



A war is brewing....
