Transformers Movie director Michael Bay recently spoke with
Rottentomatoes.com and has announced that, while the Hollywood writers strike may only be hours away from ending (the WGA is expected to make an annoucement tuesday night), he has already prepared an outline himself and is determined to have the film finished for its June 26th 2009 release date.

It looks like the Writer's Guild strike could end any day now. But while Michael Bay is not only ready to jump back into development on Transformers 2, it turns out he's already finished writing the story.
"I've been writing Transformers 2," said Bay. "We've got our characters all designed. I always write all my scripts, my movies anyway so at least I've got something to give the writers. It's like a template. We have a really good outline so I worked on that."
It might be a tad unorthodox, but Bay has high pressure demands. "We had to because I want to make my date. I'm not going to let the strike take me down."
Now that the major effects of transforming moving parts have been figured out, Bay has all sorts of new characters in store for the sequel. "When you do your first movie, you break the back of it. Now we can have a lot more fun. We can actually make the depth of these characters more fun and a lot more interesting characters. To see actually what you can achieve visually, you never know. When you go into a movie, you never know visually. I think I've got a lot of fun, interesting, funny characters."

Yes, it seems that this cool figure is now starting to show up at retail.
It was found in a Walmart in California, but not too many other sitings have shown up yet.
Good news though! You can nab him for the gas money you'll spend hunting for him at BIGBADTOYSTORE! You can order up the S7 SUV
here!
Let us know when you find yours in the Sitings Thread and reporting database.

Is your CLASSICS Ultra Magnus feeling a tad naked? Does he need a little help to feel complete?
TFCLUB, the makers of the Cliffjumper upgrade and the upcoming Masterpiece Starscream upgrade, seem to have hit yet another homerun for upgrade sets.
A blurry picture, and some knowledgable TFClub customer talk on TFW2005 and the Allspark, seem to relate that this is true, and the best part, that the auctions should at least start at an affordable price and that there should be enough for most of the folks who want one.
Will this set come to fruition, and be available for the common folks to get at a reasonable price? Time will tell , but it is certainly interesting to consider.
You can see the thread with blurry image
here.
Note: I did not go to the original link, because folks were complaining of viruses there, like last time.
Here's an auction for the
CLIFFJUMPER UPGRADE SET from TFClub.

According to a report from
IESB.net Paramount Studios and Hasbro are in early discussion about creating a
Transformers Movie theme3d Amusement Park ride.
The early plans lead towards the creation of what is known as a "Dark Ride", which according to Wikipedia is a
"dark ride or darkride is an indoor amusement ride where riders in guided vehicles travel through specially-lit scenes that characteristically contain animation, sounds, music, and other special effects."
One concept that has been discussed involves an amphibious vehicle that takes guests would ride into the battle of a battle between the opposing forces.
As to which characters could be used remains a mystery as designers have been told that some of the robots were unable to be used as they may not be surviving the second or third film.
Due to design and construction times, the timeline of the opening of the Amusement Ride would more than likely co-incide with the release of the third Transformers Ride.
