It's been some time since we heard any news regarding the Hasbro/Paramount cinematic universe. While your dreams of seeing G.I. Joe and Transformers in the same live-action movie universe may still happen, it appears that certain properties may not see a live-action big screen adventure after all. Scotty P pointed us to an article on IGN's website that features an interview with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, writers on the well-received Spider-Man: Homecoming movie, regarding the shared cinematic universe, and for the ROM and M.A.S.K properties in particular:

"Those are probably not likely to see the light of day, unless they’re moving on separate from us," said Goldstein. "It’s a funny thing. We spent three weeks in a room with a lot of talented writers. We broke 11 or so movies and, I don’t know. It just kind of went into the vortex. There’s been some leadership changes at Paramount, so it’s hard to say. Nobody’s contacted us about those."

Robot Kingdom seems to be the first site offering a preorder for Transformers Movie Masterpiece MPM-6 Ironhide. We do get new details from this listing including a more specific release date and a price.

The release date given is July 1st, 2018. This does fit with the Fall release given by Hasbro since Hasbro usually refers to when we would see a product on the shelves. Robot Kingdom has the toy at $109, but as the title of this article states, this clues us in more on the price point, and is not necessarily the price the toy will be on shelves in America.

This is the same price MPM Optimus Prime goes for on the same site, meaning that MPM Ironhide would probably be sold at the same $100 price Optimus Prime was at Toysrus. Unlike previous MPM releases, Ironhide has not been said to be retailer exclusive and will also be available on Hasbro Toy Shop.

For those of you who follow the wider entertainment world, you'll be aware of this being awards season - and the Oscars are up soon (March 4, 2018) - and that movie companies and productions are gearing up for the consideration of the industry and the Academy. In light of that, Paramount has made available 'For Your [ours too] Consideration' the full score by Steve Jablonsky from the 2017 live-action movie Transformers: The Last Knight, for free, from their website!

If you already had a copy from the previous retail release, you may spot some differences between that and this version, with some the tracks not corresponding in the two copies, but rather this current release being the exact score used in the movie itself - as you can see already from the track listings. Courtesy of Blue Sky Studios, a UK-based company producing assorted stationery and gift items, we have a brief announcement regarding Transformers-themed items to be shown at Spring Fair 2018 - the biggest UK event in the industry, taking place this year on February 4-8 at the NEC Birmingham.

The site does not currently feature any images or descriptions of the products, only a brief introduction to the items to come, along with an out-of-date prediction of the Bumblebee movie to be released in June (which was once the case, that much is true), and the mention of gadgets along with stationery items:

We are excited to add Transformers to our product lineup for 2018. We will be transforming the Stationery industry as well as bringing some exciting Gadgets that will transform your life.

Keep your eyes open at the Spring Fair where you will be able to see our Gadgets in disguise and core stationery lines for 2018. Not only will we have the new Transformers movie we will also be producing new Bumble lines to go with the 2018 film out in June.

From the same Weibo user that brought us the most recent news regarding Power of the Primes Blastoff, we also have new Studio Series images to share with you today. The new images center on the upcoming voyager class figures Optimus Prime and Starscream. While the design is not the main image seen on the front of the box, it is the design that has lately been shown on the side of the packaging, complete with the Transformers logo and the "Studio Series" tagline. The packaging art seen shows Starscream and Optimus Prime in the same poses that they have on the front of their packaging.

Both figures are part of the upcoming Studio Series line, which will be a Generations styled line for the live action figures. While the line has not been fully and officially revealed yet, we can tell you that we should be close to the official announcement, complete with stock images of the new figures.

While we did post some in-hand images of the Hasbro - Takara Tomy collaboration on Transformers Movie Masterpiece MPM-5 Barricade, back here, the recent private press event during the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2018 which announced its successor MPM-6 Ironhide, also had previous figure Bumblebee and the Decepticon police car on display, as comparison and showcase.

Thanks to Hobbymizer administrator Stanley Cheung, who contacted us directly, we have some nice, clean, high-definition shots of the ladiesman217 seeker - which you can check out below! Just like the previous year, we have some more news directly from Hasbro regarding their recent reveal of Transformers Movie Masterpiece MPM-06 Ironhide, as seen at the private event at Royal Pacific Hotel for Hong Kong Toys media, taking place alongside (but not part of) the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2018 (see here for our coverage), and to accompany the initial first official image of the figure.

Sporting his 2007 live-action Paramount movie look, the Autobot weapons specialist now also has a bio, a description of the toy, images of the articulation points, and a release date of Fall 2018 - but no price point at the time of writing. Check it all out below!

Fans have been adding more images to Hobbymizer's Facebook page regarding the Transformers toys shown at the private press event organized by Hasbro for Hong Kong toy media representatives. We have taken several from that page to share them with you below. We have Ironhide compared to MPM Bumblebee in both modes and compared to MPM Optimus Prime as well. You can also see more of Barricade and Bumblebee below along with this new MPM Ironhide comapred to he original voyager class toy, showing that his height is closer to the Mega class of old.
