First 2010 Dairycon Convention Exclusive Revealed!
Sources within Dairycon have just revealed artwork for the first of the 2010
exclusives:
None other than Uncle Whiskey Breath!
"In honor of Dairycon's 10th Anniversary, we've decided to reissue a
perennial Dairycon Classic- our very own Uncle Whiskey Breath. Uncle will
come with his usual assortment of accessories, as well as a few surprises,
all within our fantastic Dairycon packaging."
"In-addition, the second Dairycon character- that is, one that's been in the
stories, but never produced until now... is everyone's favorite Medic,
code-named Ticker."
These two characters are part of the 'Battle for Brew City' assortment,
slated for Dairycon 2010.
No word yet on whether these will be regular or limited raffle items.
One final tidbit: "There will be at least 3 more character reveals in the
coming weeks. One of which is expected... and one which will blow your
mind."
Looks great! Can't wait to see what they reveal next!

Um...not at the convention itself on Saturday, but I'm sure anyone in town for the Friday Night Gaming may want to hit a local tavern for the finest brew Cheddarland has to offer.

Yeah, you're missing a whole lot actually.
Botcon is the officially sanctioned Transformers Convention through Fun Publications and the Transformers Collectors Club.
DairyCon is a fan convention that has no ties to Botcon, Fun Publications, or Hasbro. There are several unofficial Transformers Conventions held around the country, as well as the world. Cybcon, TFCon in Toronto, AutoAssembly in the United Kingdom, Ticobot in Central America.
The Dairy in DairyCon is just our way of saying our Convention is in America's Dairyland, aka Wisconsin. Granted, a lot of our exclusives have some Wisconsin humor in their creation, such as Uncle Whiskey Breath, but not all exclusives are so heavily influenced by our regional culture.
For the most part, a lot of the DairyCon exclusives have been spoofs in general to Transformers. We had Ass-09 (or Assinine ) last year and he was a donkey inspired repaint/remold of Battle Unicorn. We had our several repaints of the Spychanger Prowl mold: Flatfoot (The Good Cop), Bailjumper (The Bad Cop), Checkers (the first to turn a cop car into a taxi btw!), and Domino (the Italian Mafia inspired pizza delivery car). Now each one of them may not be a spoof, but the fact that we were able to get 4 unique uses out of repaints is very much a homage to Hasbro, lol. We even had Spot (Hotspot) before any toy was officially made.
In short, DairyCon is a fun little convention in Wisconsin where the organizers still remember the most important part about throwing conventions, and that's to have fun. Not to make tons of money like some other convention organizers.
So if you're in the Midwest and are looking for a fun convention to go to within driving distance, DairyCon is for you!
If you have any other questions about Dairycon, shoot me a PM.

All sorts of games actually. Not gambling like Casino Night at Botcon, but games like Heroscape and other board games with a TF spin on them.
Several games use Robot Heroes and Heroes of Cybertron as the game pieces. Several people bring video game systems and tv's to play stuff on as well. It's a fun time.

For those of you interested in knowing, there is no food/beverage in the Dairycon rooms, but there *IS* a bar & a restaraunt just an elevator trip away!
