Transformers fan Nevermore has informed us of several new listings on Amazon.com for Transformers Power of the Primes. Most of these are placeholder listings, especially for wave 3 toys. But for the wave 2 deluxes, we are treated to high resolution images we previously only saw with a watermark, along with the number of steps. The full listings available will be posted below. The real fun part of the remaining placeholder listings is that we get a confirmation of all the toys leaked earlier this year along with confirmation of their names. For instance, we now know for certain that we will get an "Outback" (to hell with you Steakhouse!) along with the following corrections nevermore pointed out:
- The Battletrap component included in Legends Class wave 2 is named "Battleslash", not "Battleclash" as some people mistakenly read from the Hasbro leak.
- Tailgate having the same Hasbro product code number as Roadtrap was an error. Roadtrap is really E1158, while Tailgate is actually E1159.
Here is a list with links to the Amazon listings followed by images and product descriptions for those that were available. Clicking the images will let you see them bigger.

Including leaders? If you have a picture that would be front page news right away.
Sadly I didn't see any Leaders, But I guess I should've thought to take a Picture, I was too excited to actually FIND them available.
However all the Legends, Prime Masters, and Deluxes were there for certain. I was actually trying to see anything related to the Prime1 Studios Onslaught, sadly Nothing new has happened since It was teased.
No worries, when I was talking of pictures I meant for the leaders. So since they werent there, its all good.

That largely falls in line with earlier instances, though "Autobot Outback" is surprising. I don't suppose the USTPO no longer allows Outback Stakehouse the monopoly on the trademark, especially in areas they never use them in?

I just hope we get more stand-alone decepticons in later waves to give him (or any spare torso such as Starscream) a complete limb set.
Edit: You know what? With some way to attach a Titan Master port and some new beast head piece, Rippersnapper would make a great body for Squeezeplay/Cancer/Crashbash.

Repugnus?
Though to be honest, of all the guys to become Headmasters he's got the head for it.
I'm still holding out for this remold of Ripersnapper:
Quick observation:
I'm really unhappy with the copyright info being on his largest plate since we see both sides. Even if they're assembled wrong (swapped left and right) you'll still clearly see it on the inside. And I don't think it is on wrong because the hinge for folding them down is on the correct side (outside). Should have stuck it inside a leg like most figures.

Honestly you know there’s always a meeting for that stuff and until you have him in your hand it’s best to just trust that was the best and only place to put it. Maybe I’m giving them too much credit but like I said there’s meeting that are had to figure out where to put the copyright and trademark.
Yes there does seem to be plenty of space on the inside of the leg but I don’t work for Hasbro and I’m not part of those conversations
Plus let’s not kid ourselves, Snarls best side has always been his right

So far TRU is selling all the POTP figures right at MSRP. They're struggling because of some back debt they inherited when they were bought out and the dwindling market for toys at retail, not just because of their prices.

Prime Masters:
Wave 2
Landmine- E1116, 63050964886
Catilla- E1115, 63050964887
Misnamed Alchemist Prime with Submarauder. It's also possible it was an attempt to release Toraizer in his stead early on, but the name stuck for some reason.

It's disappointing that mix and match combiners seem to be the norm vice the exception this time around. There are still so many good combiner teams to tap into, but at this rate, it doesn't seem we'll get around to most of them before the toy line ends.

We pretty much have the Classic teams completed, that is, the ones that appeared in the US cartoon:
- Constructicons & Devastator
- Aerialbots & Superion
- Stunticons & Menasor
- Protectobots & Defensor
- Combaticons & Bruticus (with a shuttle Blast Off rumored)
- Technobots & Computron
- Terrocons & Abominus
- Predacons & Predaking
The rest will be bonuses, really. But they're not forgotten as Wildly of the Monster Pretenders is built in the Cutthroat mold.

I have some Seacons and Monstercons that need updating, dang it.
Also, if given the choice between buying a half-complete combiner or not buying them at all, I'm going the cheap route and saving my cash for something else. Starscream seems . . . halfhearted at best, and Elita 1 is a recolored copy. Inferno is just a red Hot Spot. Hasbro wants us to buy these but won't provide enough limbots to to complete them? Sorry, but no.
Shelf Warmer #1, Shelf Warmer #2, and Shelf Warmer #3.

Honestly, Starscream's torso mode is the best thing about him. His jet mode doesn't hold together well, and his robot mode is very bland. His torso mode, however is very solid and utilizes a very interesting transformation. If I had to pick one voyager out of these oddballs to keep in combiner mode, it'd be him.

Personally I like to think of him/them as a simplified Masterpiece rather than part of Combiner Wars. They look fantastic both individually and combined alongside real MPs and Devastator properly towers over everyone. But then, I have the Unite Warriors version so I can say for sure I would feel the same way with the CW version.
In other news, the Prime Masters are pretty fun figures. I don't know if I would say they're better than Titan Masters Since TM vehicles had three modes (a ride-on mode, a ride-in mode, and a weapon mode) while PM armors only turn into suits or weapons, but they do look pretty good in both modes. As a bonus you can detach the weapon end from the back of the armor and there's a tiny handle so the armor can hold on and use it as a full weapon itself. The Metalhawk armor does this best because of how far down the gun the handle is. The Skullgrin armor I think looks better holding the claw weapon than he looks turning into one. I imagine the Submarauder armor is going to be a similar case, looking better holding the triton than turning into one.

Implementation of proper Combiner Ports, two each. It's worth noting that Deluxes don't have proper ratchet joints, thus no springs. And it's springs that are inside those ports.
Hasbro and/or TakaraTomy may surprise us, but first I wanna see Slog and Birdbrain for precedence, since Wildfly was on the brain of Cutthroat's designer.

One could just get switched to a legends-class 'add on', like the original CW Groove or Powerglide for Superion.

They could, but it would still just feel like a cop out. Engineering two roughly deluxe size figures that each possess two combiner ports and attach to each other is far from the hardest or most expensive thing HasTak has had to do.

That would result in rather big legs and chests tho...
Just means he never skips leg day or chest day.

I cant.

Bruticus is by far the best CW ever built (Except you, Jet-Molded Blast Off)
For CW, sure I guess we could say Bruticus was the best. But Unite Warriors Computron and Grand Galvatron are still better
what about devestator?
I assumed we were referring only to the scramble city bots.

I can see this working quite well.

But as others have mentioned, the Seacons & the Pretender Monsters need an update, too.
Since I'm in Oregon, I probably won't see my Prime Masters from HTS til Tuesday or so.
