New Gallery: Combiner Wars Voyager Class Onslaught

Onslaught = awesome. There's something about the head NOT having those silly robot lips that just makes the figure look cooler. If only they had given Blastoff a proper G1 style face mask as well. Those flat gray parts are just begging for some silver paint...

It's hard to tell, but is the Olive Green paint on Onslaught exactly the same as the paint on Brawl? You don't see matched paint like that on separate figures too often.

Once again, this is a great looking team. Cannot wait to get this guy

So excited to see this team! Bruticus was the only G1 (and G2) combiner I had complete as a kid.

I'll be visiting the parents for Christmas, and was wondering whether digging through the attic for my G1 Onslaught's rifle would even be worth the effort.

I assume they've gotten a small stock in and I just happened to order him early enough to be part of it. That's what happened with my other Combaticons.

Anyone who's had the misfortune to read me whine and complain about the glut of repaints/retools lately knows my stance on the matter. But dangit if this bot is not a prime exhibit of the most simple yet effective retooling. For an armored anti-aircraft vehicle, I'm convinced. Well done. Nice lookin bot too!

I just hope he wont be TT exclusive. There isnt any rhyme or reason to it anymore. Its been 3 UW figures that are for everyone, and 3 Exclusives. Some had new stuff Hasbro didnt have and others not. So its a toss up.

Looks like you are going to have to wait on that. By the pace Takara is going, the Combaticons will most likely be released sometime in the middle of next year. My guess is Takara will detail these figures to look exactly like their G1 brethren, and possibly make Ruination repaints.

As for Brawl, his waist didn't bother me anywhere near as much as his very short forearms which made it impossible for his elbow to bend when holding the larger combiner appendage as a weapon.

The waist on my Brawl seems to hold firm enough so I made my peace with it.

However, at this point, there is just no excuse for a tank turret that can't turn. The very first Brawl had one. This is just lame.

I'm so hoping Takara will give us this new Shockwave. So much more they can improve on I can totally see it!

If any of you are thinking of double dipping on Combiner Wars Superion with the G2 version, Seibertron now has a full gallery ready of all six individual members and the combined form in this glorious deco.

Please rest assured that this G2 Slingshot won't break like the old one did. For those who don't know, the original G2 Slingshot suffered from heavy breakage with minimal wear due to the fragile gold tinted plastic he was made of, referred to as Gold Plastic Syndrome (GPS). That is why you will find no video review of the original G2 slingshot being transformed. Actually, I take that back because Seibertron has something special for you all. Below you will find an actual clip of Seibertron himself transforming G2 Slingshot without it crumbling to dust (which I believe was one of Hercule's 12 labours). Having this nice whole Slingshot also lets us bring you some full comparison pics between the new Combiner Wars G2 Superion and the original G2 Superion, something else you probably won't ever come across. And here is Seibertron transforming the original G2 Slingshot without it falling apart.

I really like the blue had/foot/guns, especially when scrambling with the other combiners. Another option for them to have mis-matched "socks" like all the cool teens wear nowadays.

Man what a gorgeous looking set love the colors.

Combiner wars continues to be great with possibility I don't understand the complaints

When I eventually atart buying Combiner wars I'm going to re-purpose G2 Superion into a new team to go alongside the normal Aerialbots they will be named after the Air Tean from Energon.



G2 Silverbolt will be Storm Jet

G2 Airraid will be Treadshot

G2 Skydive will be Terradive

G2 Fireflight will be Windrazor

G2 Slingshot will be Skyshadow

G2 Powerlgide will be Overcast



And the six of them will combine into INFERION!

Question: Will Scattershot and the G2 Stunticons be getting any gallery pics?


I know Scattorshot has a somewhat poor reputation due to not being fateful enough to the Technobots but I'm curious to see what he and his Betatron form looks like in a proper gallery.

Scattershot is high on my list along with the small handful of other legends that I need to do. I was going to try to do him when I did unite warriors superion and go superion this week but decided against it for now.

The G2 colors are wickedly awesome and I enjoy the look! not something I will buy but definitely a nice pickup

I remember browsing your Bruticus gallery and being a little disappointed that you didn't do any photo's of the alternate scheme (aka brawl and swindle as arms, etc.) is this something you could try doing for him, or others?

Like not a lot of photo's, but maybe a couple at the end...

I am loving what I'm seeing. Hound and Trailbreaker are all I wanted them to be, and the whole set looks sweet. Cannot wait to have this guy in hand!
