Damn it... Botcon exclusives are like really high-class hookers: the more they're beautiful, the more they're expensive!

By that rationale, this one should be cheaper than Randy's mother.

I think it looks awesome. Great update to a classic character. Will have to pull out the Dreadwind/Darkwing and Buster/Hydra toys in the very near future.

My only complaint is that the shoulders should be green. It would make it more true to the original toy, and also liven up the deco a bit.

Being part of a Botcon set and storyline makes it a bit more appealing, but not much. I'm actually more excited about the other seekers than this figure, but I still prefer Dreadwing to BugByte.

Why exactly do you hate the mold so much? I think it's a bang on homage to a classic character (jetfire that is). My only fault with it is his balance. The playability is spectacular.

Nail on the head. The lack of a pivot on his upper thigh kills the posability of the figure and made me really dislike it. Otherwise I would love it to death and call it the best thing since online porn.

C'est parce qu'il n'est pas un vrai francophone...

Umm, this confuses me. It is the same color scheme as the original. What gives and what color scheme did you think Dreadwind would be?

I'm getting the set, but he's getting dumped off. I just wanted the seekers.

I see the same issue with Bugbite. The original was a Bumblebee repaint. Why would this one be any different? I'd be upset if the colors on either were any different. They may have not been my ideal choice of character to represent with the last batch of Classics. However, given the 2 characters chosen, the figures are a pretty accurate representation.

Must be quite the forgotten figure since some people don't seem to know what color scheme him and bugbite are supposed to be. `

Why pass up the opportunity for petty complaining?
Seriously, this toy should have been colored black. They should have used black detailing, all black weapons, and transluscent black for the eye piping.
That and they should have taken out all of the gimmicks and just gone with the 1042 standard points of articulation.
Seriously.

exactly!
Absolutely no one would have complained about that.

I think the last thing this set - nay, this line - needs is another Seeker!

Yeah, I've been noticing a lot of this too. It's kind of sad in a way...

And there lies the problem. If you saw this figure and didn't know it was supposed to be Dreadwind, you would think it looks horrible. It's certainly not visually appealing unless you're color blind...So why pick Dreadwind for the Jetfire repaint? It's not like he's the only G1 character that was some kind of plane type vehicle. And I sure as hell know there were ones that had better colors. That scheme looked fine on the G1 figure, but when translated over to a completely different toy it just looks bad.
