We know Leadfoot is a Target exclusive figure in the Studio Series line, similar to the Voyager class Battle Damaged Megatron that appeared at Target last year. Given that Megatron's short period between announcement and being found in stores, with the additional caveat of his shelf tag showing up, we expect his release to happen within the next month or so.
Are you excited to see this pop up? Itching to complete your Studio Series Wreckers? Let us know below and have fun hunting!

First, welcome!
And second, MP what? Impossible that it's Starscream so who would it be? A second shipment of MPM Megatron?

It's not impossible that it's Starscream, given he's a Target exclusive with an MSRP of $149.99.

Considering how much the 3P sellers ask for AND the original Japanese price, that's a pretty nice deal.
Still, I got it for cheaper at Amazon.JP though.

Nice! I poped into one of my local ones last night and asked about but the poor employee was mad confused also none of the Gamestops up here have ever carried Studio Series or Generations so would have been a bust anyway

Yeah, it seems weird that Gamestop, which hasn't had any Studio Series in-store except the Bumblebee/ Cassette packs suddenly had all these figures in stock for the sale. I'm not complaining, but it does seem weird.
I'm getting all my figures packed up again, decided to grab a picture of some of the figures I had out. They're all great! The Dropkick repaint is something I'm calling Downwash, I just finished it and uploaded it to my Customs thread.
(SS DOTM Bumblebee when, Hasbro?)

Seconded on both of those. I never completed the live-action Wrecker lineup back in the day, and I really do want all three this time around.
As for Overload, oh gods yes! The other seven would kinda like their midsection, please. I've also been doing some rearranging of my toys, but I can't finish it until Devastator's done!

Super cool figure, It’s huge for a Voyager class figure, and the sculpted detail is super nice, even if the gray plastic makes it not stand out very much. The only real negative I have right now is that all the leg panels like to pop off (particularly the back ones), which I’ll have to figure out a fix for. Anyway, glad to add it to my collection, and Scavenger is supposed to arrive tomorrow!

I'll be honest, I've had this figure since it came out, and I've never managed to make it look anywhere near this good in poses Glad you like it though, it's definitely one of the fun ones!

Agreed. That's how mine is going to be posed on the shelf for now on.

Okay I wasn't sure, it's the 1st time I've seen him in town. Now there are 8 of him and 8 of Roadbuster on the pegs. He looks really small.Sabrblade wrote:He's been coming and going from my stores for a good long while by now.Rodimus Prime wrote:Is Jeep Bee widely available yet? Yeah, but he looks small even for Bee. I guess because the Jeep doesn't use as much material as a Camaro. I never handled the VW Bee, so I don't know if that's smaller.Sabrblade wrote:Well, it is little ol' Bumblebee.Rodimus Prime wrote:He looks really small.
And being late to the party as usual, I just picked up SS voyager Sentinel.

I guess that makes sense, really the only thing they could do for a movie one is a "final battle" retool. Which would actually be pretty cool.

I really like that idea too! Battle Damaged Megatron turned out really cool, I’d be up for more of those.

Especially if it could be ripped in half by said Megatron, MPM style.

I'd rather it be designed last, knowing it can handle the weight of devs instead of first and not
Posted by Rodimus Prime on August 17th, 2020 @ 8:25am CDT
I would think they were all designed at the same time, considering they're parts of the same figure. Not getting released at the same time is a decision of production, or maybe that the leader spots of the previous waves were occupied by figures that were deemed better sellers.Hellscream9999 wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:It was kinda crappy for Hasbro to release Overload last, knowing Devy can't be combined without him.

What about the early prototypes that showed a completely different design?

But it's probably more realistic to expect brutally animation accurate renditions instead, right? (Sigh)

If they manage that with mainline figures that remain at normal mainline prices, that would be quite a feat!

As long that they don't all become like Hybrid Optimus Prime, with a perfect bot but with a horrible vehicle mode, I'd be fine with it.

This
Not actual empirical evidence, but based on the difference in the elbow joints (hightowers has trouble holding up the arm, and scrappers is super powerful), I'd say there was already a bit of learning along the way, not saying my reasoning is perfect, but it makes sense to design and release the two load bearing parts last after all the other parts are finalized

Do you think Siege Springer and T30 Arcee would be good examples of what we would expect going by what you just defined?

I'd say that's the general idea. Many Siege and ER figures are already "mini MP". But I'd want brand new molds for the SS line. Maybe for Arcee, an improvement of her ER version.

I do, of course we'll see for ourselves when they're revealed.
I wonder if they'll continue to do the diorama backdrops in the box for the 86 series.

Looks like he won't have a different deco/accessories, so it's an easy pass for those who already got him, but surely a nice surprise for those who had issues finding some of the members like Scrapmetal.
EDIT: looks like he has some different deco. Long Haul looks like he has some dust effect painted on the truck bed.
