Those of you who didn't get in on the blink-and-you-missed it preorder for Studio Series Leadfoot should have another option pretty soon! A fellow fan sent us this picture of a shelf tag with the simple description "TRA LEADFOOT", and the DPCI code of 087-16-8197.

Transformers News: Studio Series Leadfoot Shelf Tag Spotted at Target

We know Leadfoot is a Target exclusive figure in the Studio Series line, similar to the Voyager class Battle Damaged Megatron that appeared at Target last year. Given that Megatron's short period between announcement and being found in stores, with the additional caveat of his shelf tag showing up, we expect his release to happen within the next month or so.

Are you excited to see this pop up? Itching to complete your Studio Series Wreckers? Let us know below and have fun hunting!

Same, found one in one of my local Targets today, but this might not be the right thread for it; try this:

First, welcome!
And second, MP what? Impossible that it's Starscream so who would it be? A second shipment of MPM Megatron?

It's not impossible that it's Starscream, given he's a Target exclusive with an MSRP of $149.99.

Considering how much the 3P sellers ask for AND the original Japanese price, that's a pretty nice deal.
Still, I got it for cheaper at Amazon.JP though.

So with some of the WFC Earthrise items moving forward from their original expected Sept/Oct release dates (Doubledealer, Snapdragon, Skylynx, Scorponok), is anyone else hoping we'll be seeing some of the Studio Series October releases moving up? The larger classes are the ones that seem to be moving up, so seeing Overload, Blitzwing and Skipjack soon would be nice.

Using that DCPI, I looked up online. The preorders are sold out but it says to check back on 9-11-2020 online to see more. I'm hoping that this is available online again. Othersie, I may have to bribe one you fine ladies and gentlemen to pick one up for me as my closest Target is about 2 hours away. Downside of living in the Northwoods...

I am also hoping Leadfoot shows up on time in Target, I am ready to complete my Wreckers at last

Just in case anyone missed it, Megatron Day over at Gamestop has a deal for BOGO50% off on Studio Series. Figures range from wave 1 stuff to some recent figures like Roadbuster and Scavenger. I used it to get Scavenger and ROTF Megs.

Nice! I poped into one of my local ones last night and asked about but the poor employee was mad confused  also none of the Gamestops up here have ever carried Studio Series or Generations so would have been a bust anyway

Yeah, it seems weird that Gamestop, which hasn't had any Studio Series in-store except the Bumblebee/ Cassette packs suddenly had all these figures in stock for the sale. I'm not complaining, but it does seem weird.

I'm getting all my figures packed up again, decided to grab a picture of some of the figures I had out. They're all great! The Dropkick repaint is something I'm calling Downwash, I just finished it and uploaded it to my Customs thread.

Seconded on both of those. I never completed the live-action Wrecker lineup back in the day, and I really do want all three this time around.

As for Overload, oh gods yes! The other seven would kinda like their midsection, please. I've also been doing some rearranging of my toys, but I can't finish it until Devastator's done! :BOOM:

Check out what arrived today!
6012532C-F862-4BB2-AC24-3E5A8AA96D70.jpeg

Super cool figure, It’s huge for a Voyager class figure, and the sculpted detail is super nice, even if the gray plastic makes it not stand out very much. The only real negative I have right now is that all the leg panels like to pop off (particularly the back ones), which I’ll have to figure out a fix for. Anyway, glad to add it to my collection, and Scavenger is supposed to arrive tomorrow!

I'll be honest, I've had this figure since it came out, and I've never managed to make it look anywhere near this good in poses  Glad you like it though, it's definitely one of the fun ones!

Okay I wasn't sure, it's the 1st time I've seen him in town. Now there are 8 of him and 8 of Roadbuster on the pegs. He looks really small.

Yeah, but he looks small even for Bee. I guess because the Jeep doesn't use as much material as a Camaro. I never handled the VW Bee, so I don't know if that's smaller.

And being late to the party as usual, I just picked up SS voyager Sentinel.

Not that there was ever much doubt, but the leaker who's talked about a bunch of Kingdom stuff also confirmed that the new Jazz is an 86 figure and not a Bay one.

I guess that makes sense, really the only thing they could do for a movie one is a "final battle" retool. Which would actually be pretty cool.

It was kinda crappy for Hasbro to release Overload last, knowing Devy can't be combined without him.

I would think they were all designed at the same time, considering they're parts of the same figure. Not getting released at the same time is a decision of production, or maybe that the leader spots of the previous waves were occupied by figures that were deemed better sellers.

So docwe know what the atheistics of the '86 movie wave are going to be? Because to be honest, if they all had the same vibe the Bumblebee Optimus has going on .. that would be perfectly fine with me !
But it's probably more realistic to expect brutally animation accurate renditions instead, right? (Sigh)

If they manage that with mainline figures that remain at normal mainline prices, that would be quite a feat!

I reckon they'll be as close to the animated appearance as budget will allow. Probably focusing on bot mode accuracy.

As long that they don't all become like Hybrid Optimus Prime, with a perfect bot but with a horrible vehicle mode, I'd be fine with it.

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer, PrimeVsPrime has uploaded a new video review of Transformers Studio Series ROTF Deluxe Class Soundwave! This marks only the third time that a toy has attempted to portray this version of the character. The first two being the Revenge of the Fallen movie toyline Deluxe and the Legends Class version of the character. Unlike the original deluxe, this one omits the missile that represented Soundwave sending Ravage down to Earth in order to liberate a piece of the Allspark in the movie.

We have embedded the review below for your convenience.

What do you think about this version of the iconic character? Will you be getting him when he appears on store shelves? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

This

Not actual empirical evidence, but based on the difference in the elbow joints (hightowers has trouble holding up the arm, and scrappers is super powerful), I'd say there was already a bit of learning along the way, not saying my reasoning is perfect, but it makes sense to design and release the two load bearing parts last after all the other parts are finalized

We have news that Transformers Studio Series leader class Overload has been found at US and Canadian retail. In the US, G1 Liokaiser found it at a Walmart in Oklahoma. In Canada, the toy was found at Toysrus in Boisbriand, Quebec. The wavemate is Scavenger.

If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

The US listing sighitng was posted on the TFW forum while the Canadian finding was posted on Cybertron.ca.

I'd say that's the general idea. Many Siege and ER figures are already "mini MP". But I'd want brand new molds for the SS line. Maybe for Arcee, an improvement of her ER version.

I misread the news article as G1 Liokaiser found in walmart...to have my hopes raised and dashed due to lack of coffee. Cries. At least people can complete their Devys now.

Hoping Springers a bit more accurate in vehicle mode this time but also half expecting repacks of WFC stuff in studio series boxes :(

I do, of course we'll see for ourselves when they're revealed.

I wonder if they'll continue to do the diorama backdrops in the box for the 86 series.

I bet SS86 will come with backdrops, it's a staple, but i still wish SS86 didn't exist even as an idea

I found one at my Walmart a couple of days ago but did not pick it up as I have it preordered from Target.com for $29.99 (vs. the $49.99 it was going for at Walmart). Saving $20 is worth the wait for me.

looks like we got a first glimpse of the Devastator boxset.
I found the pic on Facebook, but I don't know the original source.

Looks like he won't have a different deco/accessories, so it's an easy pass for those who already got him, but surely a nice surprise for those who had issues finding some of the members like Scrapmetal.

EDIT: looks like he has some different deco. Long Haul looks like he has some dust effect painted on the truck bed.
