Yeah, mixmaster robot mode to me is quite horrible. It should be the worst robot mode among 7 of them.
Maybe such a small figure that need to have 3 modes, what Takara did already quite commendable.
As usual, great gallery.
The gallery section is really one of the strong point of Seibertron.

Me thinks that I will be picking this and Buster Prime up. I agree with FB, an oversized KO would actually be pretty cool too.

I agree. Anyway Mixmaster looks fantastic in EZ Devastator, forming a long and hanging neck instead of being simply parked above Scavenger as in the big one...
Also, the back of Devastator looks much better than the big version.
With a scout class Scavenger this EZ Devastator would have been almost perfect!!!
good job Takara!
and great gallery, as usual!!!

Something I noticed, none of the Constructicon vehicles actually contain "2 wrecking balls." Oh, that makes me even more upset to why they show up in the film.

No need to. Check the full size ROTF Devastator gallery for those comparison pics.

My only complaint with mixmaster is Devastator's head. If only there were panels that the face could fold into on his back. At least the head isn't a separate set to get.

Longhaul is the best, but rampage is...er...weird but still ok.

Scavenger is my favorite (much better than the voyager).
But why does Hightower look like an Insecticon?

for now i'm passing up the big dev, i'm disappointed w/ the detail and especially the lack of bot modes. i read the BS excuse from the designers, it's a copout. i'd rather have the smaller set that has 7 instead of 6 bots and has all 3 modes like it should. i might eventually get the big dev, but i don't have $100 to fork over for a Tf i'm not that impressed with. on the other hand, i just got jetfire. one of the best EVER.

EZ Devastator is a Takara product, you won't be finding it in retail in North America. You'll probably be finding it in speciality stores at a high markup, when they'll arrive, well the figure is being released soon in Asia so it should be coming any time.

Razorclaw0000 wrote:Hey Ryan, by the way, how does Dev hold together? Is it very fragile or nice and solid?
It's a pretty solid figure, as far as Legends class figures go. The limbs stay together really nice, almost too tight.

This set has already been released in Asia. I imported it from robotkingdom.com.

The picture I did of this ended up in Long Haul's gallery. I meant to have it also in Devastator's gallery but oh well. Here's the image and the link:

Best gallery of the set on the internet.
