This is really their new default stock photo posing. This is the standard they're setting.
I've stayed away from alcohol my whole life but I think this requires a tall drink...

Notice how Bruticus' head isn't looking at either Vortex or us. It's totally at a "Muuum, I'm supposed to be cool, stop embarrassing me..." angle.

Not to mention that with as well as the other G2 sets have sold, I'll probably be able to pick him up a few months from now, perhaps at a slight discount.

I wish Onslaught had more purple camo apps, though.
On another topic, I got CW deluxe Groove yesterday from Amazon. The package isn't as damaged as I thought it would be based on other things I've read. No worse than what I'd find at a local store.
The figure itself is pretty neat. I'm glad I didn't miss out on this, and I'm looking forward to making him a part of Defensor.

As you can see from a couple shots below, I have quite a bit of my collection kept MISP.
I had been planning to these figures this whole time, but now I'm not sure. I will definitely be opening the UW version... So does it make sense to have both opened??
Keeping my Hasbro Stunticons MISP was an easy choice because I like the UW version so much better.
But in this situation, that's not really the case... I think Hasbro's looks good.
Pretty sure part of this is coming from the fact that I just opened UW Superion yesterday... Getting that taste has me in the mood!

Or maybe it's just a case of they like how the things look in the boxes and like to display them like that.
Posted by Kurona on June 18th, 2016 @ 6:36am CDT
Heck, maybe in playing around with them you could even find a combination of CW or UW you like better to straight-up UW. Not saying you will, but in-hand is always different to pictures.
Also you should give me that Nemesis Prime

Some people do it for "investment focus" But they are losing big time by not "manhandling" their figs.

I personally think it's cool to keep them sealed and have the "whole package" of what they looked like. Especially when the figure is packaged in bot mode.
If I can hold off until August when UW Brut shows up, I'm pretty sure these will stay unopened. But who knows, I don't think I'll regret it I cave and bust 'em open at some point soon.
By the way, I don't really play with my collection... I transform them a few times, and then usually leave them in bot mode.

I got that same problem on the whole forum, and my PM inbox/outbox was being even weirder. Glad to know it's a server problem that seems to have been fixed rather than just my laptop messing up.

Wow, still having issues. Just a minute ago page 685 wasn't even showing up. I had to click back to page 683 to get this page to show up. Then when I tried to post this response, it showed up with the quote I used but no new response... ???

Don't care. Since this is for Galvatronus, I'd much rather buy another Offroad.Madeus Prime wrote:Let me just state this though, it truly makes the set to own all 5 original Stunticons

I know... But if I wait my entire order including UW Comp will ship for free from TFSource.
I've spent so much $$$ at this point that any $$ I can save I will.
August will just be twice as exciting for me!

Unfortunately, it's only going to get worse, as they're going to want those numbers to keep going up, so they're going to keep cutting corners

Very true. Its all about voting with your wallets. Only way they are gonna hear.
To be fair though, I think TFs are the action figures with the most bang for your buck out there. UNlike Star Wars or DC (just bought a bunch today), you get them for a tad bit cheaper but the parts count is way higher. So is the articulation. AND unlike everyother standard action figure, you have 2 designers for each toy in 2 different parts of the world. These toys have more r&d than other action figures and sell at the same price or less. So while the quality isnt always up to par,I feel I get more from collecting TFs than any other action figures. And its not even my favourite fiction.

To elaborate, the knees on Hot Spot/Onslaught are multi-jointed. To get it to properly lock, you need to move the lowest hinge to a 90 degree angle, then swing the second hinge up. If done correctly the panel the knee joint is on should slide into a pair of groves, locking it into the leg.
