Little heads are smaller than I thought. I foresee them getting lost a LOT. Bag 'em up and sell them for $10 apiece on eBay in a few years, or start a third-party company devoted to them right now.

Wait a minute  .

He said Powermasters and Godmasters.

POWERMASTER PRIME CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for my thoughts on all the stuff revealed so far, it can be summed up in one sentence.

GIVE IT ALL TO ME!!!!!!

I mean Galvatron and Skullcruncher look awesome and Blaster and Hardhead look AMAZING. The only thing I don't like is that Nightbeat and Siren don't have any bodies. However, if they do release bodies for them at some point (with the alternate heads), then I'll buy the Siren (or Loudmouth, I guess) head with the sunglasses and put that on him.

Looks like I'll have to paint Galvatron's treads black myself. Ah well, nothing's perfect. Still light years beyond the G1 version though. I'm looking forward to putting that Universe Deluxe version into storage in favor this one, which appears more... user friendly, shall we say?

One thing I'm disappointed in is they didn't reveal a legends Kickback insecticon to round out Bombshell and 'Skrapnel'....

Let me rephrase it, why mention both? I'm all for a continuation of power masters (though I suspect they will be renamed titan masters as well). It's just interesting that he mentions both of them.

But I do hope prime gets a new mould,

Well, for one, I have absolutely no idea what a Godmaster even is anyway (besides the fact that it has something to do with Powermaster Prime), so I saw fit to mention both.

I'm concerned that Galvatron won't be able to turn his head with the helmet on . . . I suspect they moved on to Blaster right away to avoid showing that. Could be wrong, but I would have liked to see Galvatron's head being able to turn after the helmet-flip.

Looks like his head can still turn. I sincerely hope so anyway.

One thing that does concern me is I really want him to be able to store his Headmaster in the cockpit in cannon mode. He just looks ludicrous just standing there on the back of the cannon.

Overall I'm not sure about this guy. The robot mode is awesome but the jet mode was obviously phoned in and the cannon mode looks a bit daft. I might just save up for Mania King or Superlink Ultra Class Galvatron. But we'll see.

Skullcruncher and Hardhead I'm totally down for though, especially Hardhead.

A Godmaster is what Powermasters are in Japan, but the concept is different, instead of a humanoid fusing with an already named bot character (think Hi-q with Prime), the godmaster fuses with a lifeless transector and becomes the robot and giving supernatural powers.

Admittedly this is a very brief description.

See, this is the reasonable counterpoint to Galvatron being a Headmaster. I disagree and look forward to the toy, it doesn't bug me, but your reason here for being bugged by it makes sense.

It still bothers me some, but since the Headmaster part can be ignored in robot mode (which he looks like he'd be in most of the time for me considering how good it looks) it can be overlooked. And Considering the titan master is Megatron, that added level of coolness kinda softened up the "Galvs hates headmasters" thing :BOT:

And if you must have a way to make sense, I'd explain it as simple hypocrisy on Galvatron's part.

We have one new figure reveal to show you guys this evening. Arriving alongside Galvatron in the 1st wave of Titans Returns is Voyager Class Sentinel Prime and Infinitus. Sentinel Prime is a triple changer with spaceship and train alt mode. You can almost smell an Astrotrain repaint sometime in the future. Check out the images from the Hasbro panel below.

It means ya gotta learn to roll with the times. We've had animated, the movie, prime, prime beast hunters and rid '15; all with vastly different stylings, and an equivalent amount of gimmicks, this series just happened to really expand on an old sub line that many collectors and kids expressed an interest in. I think you just have a problem with some of the size class choices, maybe?

What don't you like about hardhead or skullcruncher? Or, do you simply not like headmasters in general?

I know people like it and of course it all comes down to personal opinion. I'm just disappointed that galvatron is being done this way. I see that toys and fiction intertwine. I didn't and wouldn't buy a combiner cyclonus for the same reason. Just a pity in my own personal opinion.

Not just IDW. G1 cartoon Galvatron wasn't super impressed with Headmasters and Targetmasters either. But I'd rather have a decent, larger-than-deluxe Galvatron get released with a gimmick that doesn't compromise the toy, rather than not get him at all just because he doesn't fit the current aesthetic.

Galvatron shares my view so lol. I'm truly disappointed that galvatron and sentinel prime are headmasters, two figures I really wanted. Hopefully takara do their own thing and make them complete robots with their own heads.

Well, while I don't fancy having the extra heads stand alone (the only reason I'd buy him is if they made a version of him with a non-sunglasses head), I do think that the engineering on Crashbash is unbelievable.

Yes, it means exactly what it says. This is the first wave of Generations Titan Returns of 2016. So right after wave 2 of combiner wars 2016, around the summer.

I can get behind stuff like this. I can't really deal with taking established characters like Blaster or Galvatron and making them into headmasters, but Sentinel Prime really doesn't have anything worth mentioning to prevent this. And that design works. Please, Hasbro, bring on some more original headmaster characters, or make some headless bodies that I can fit Kirk, Loafer, Trizer et al. into.
